Happy National Library Week!

Did you know that the first American Library Association sponsored National Library Week was in 1958? People all over the United States have spent the second week in April celebrating all of the wonderful academic, public, special, and school libraries for 55 years. This year LITS joins the party with some library-themed events!

  • Monday: LITS will be unveiling an exciting new fiction display. 
  • Thursday: Stop by room 431 between 3:30 and 5pm for a drop in Design Your Ideal Reading Room event, snacks will be provided. 
  • Throughout the week - Keep an eye out for LITS staff in the atrium handing out treats for those who fill out our short questionnaire! 
In honor of National Library Week, we want to know why you come to LITS and what you like to do when you are here. Please fill out this short Questionnaire, it will help us make LITS even better. Hard to imagine, I know.
